About The Fabric of Us

I built this because I needed it
and nobody offered it to me.

I lost someone I loved — suddenly — and in the days that followed I found myself doing the only thing that helped: taking what she left behind and making something from it. Something I could carry. Something that still held her in some way.

That’s where this started.

Most people in the worst days of their lives end up with a closet full of clothes they don’t know what to do with. A uniform. A work jacket. A favorite flannel. Gear that went everywhere with someone who isn’t here anymore. It ends up in a bin — donated or thrown away — because keeping it feels like too much and letting go feels impossible.

We offer another way.

Send us what they left behind. We’ll transform it into something you can wear, carry, or take back out into the world with you. Something that still holds them, but moves with you now.

And as you use it, it will wear. It will fade. The fabric will soften and eventually give out — and to us, that’s not a loss. That’s the most honest form of grief there is. Loving something all the way to the end.
